As for the latest in the gaming universe, Steam has released several of updates in the recent weekend, including Team Fortress 2, and the Steam client. The biggest changes come with Day of Defeat Source, including the addition of a popular community map entitled
- Team Fortress 2: Updated Dustbowl, Granary, and Badwater Basin with several exploit fixes. Added consistency checking for particle systems. Added rate limit for several client commands to prevent server spamming. More…
- Day of Defeat Source: New map! The update has yet to be reflected on the official Steam News feed. Possibly a beta release or recalled?
- Steam Client: Added support for registering CD keys that do not contain any games. Added support for running an external process when Verifying or Deleting a game.
For those gearing up for Farcry 2: Nvidia has released a new Beta Forceware 180.42 driver for Windows XP and Vista. These drivers are for GeForce 8800, 9 and 200 series graphics cards.
NBA 2k9: Customers of Take-Two’s latest hoops sim say their games are arriving
